What RFID-blocking means, and how we test it.
A plain explanation, without the fear.
Many cards carry a small chip that answers a reader at 13.56 MHz. That is how contactless payment works.
An RFID-blocking holder stops that signal while the cards are inside. When you press the trigger and take a card out, it works as normal.
We say “RFID-blocking (tested)”, and we link the report. We never promise more than the test shows.
The test places a card inside the holder and checks whether a reader can still talk to it. The result, the lab and the date are on the test reports page.
